The luhbots student initiative has been in existence since 2012. The aim of the initiative is for a team of students to build and programme robots and compete with them in the RoboCup competitions. The RoboCup competitions comprise various leagues, each using different types of robots and focusing on different areas. Since 2012, the luhbots have been competing in the RoboCup@Work league, which simulates industrial logistics tasks.
